CIS-ITSM Exam - Question 29

Problem and Problem Task records, move automatically from New to Assess states, when which fields are filled? (Choose two.)

Show Answer
Correct Answer: CD

The problem and problem task records move automatically from New to Assess states when the fields 'Assigned to' and 'Configuration Item' are filled. The 'Assigned to' field designates who is responsible for addressing the problem, making it essential for progression. The 'Configuration Item' field links the problem to a specific asset or service, which is also crucial for moving forward in the problem management process.

The correct answer is: AC. State is not a field which can be filled in, it always contain a value and is not selected by user. CI is not used to move Problem to Asses, just try by creating a Problem with Short Description (which is mandatory by default) and CI, Problem will stay in New

The question is not which fields are mandatory, it's which fields when chosen change the status to Assess, and it's CD. Create a problem without a configuration item or Assigned to, then add them and save the record. You will see that it automatically goes to Assess.
