Based on the information, what is the purpose of using [Time Source] for authorization?
The purpose of using [Time Source] for authorization is to check whether the guest account expired. The [Time Source] provides the current time on the ClearPass server, which is compared to the expiration time of the guest account to determine its validity.

B is correct
Correct is B
Correct answer B. From the official Clearpass lab guide: "The time source contributes the current time on the ClearPass server, this will be compared to the expired time of the guest account to determine if the guest account is still valid."
B is correct https://community.arubanetworks.com/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MID=10785#bmde0905de-5cd1-4e17-afaf-72559e2e5216
[Time Source] is typically used with MAC Caching. The guest account expiration is checked as part of the authentication, not authorization. So I believe the answer should be C.
There is no "MAC Caching Repository" on ClearPass...
From the same technical forum page : https://community.arubanetworks.com/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MID=10785 'Time source' don't use the enpoint table 'known' status to implement mac caching. It's all about time calcultation which seem to be faster and more reliable. Answer is A
It did mentioned from an Endpoint repository, not account, I choose A
