Exam HPE0-V14 Question 2

A customer has been using VEEAM and the HPE StoreOnce 3620 shown in the exhibit to backup their environment. The customer's legal team has asked to double their retention times for all backup sets, and they are starting to run out of space on the StoreOnce.

Which options could you recommend that the customer add to their existing configuration to accommodate the new requirement? Each option represents a separate solution. (Choose two.)

Show Answer
Correct Answer: AB

To address the requirement for increased retention times without running out of space, the customer has two viable options: expanding the existing storage capacity or using cloud-based storage. Adding HPE StoreOnce Cloud Bank Storage would allow the customer to offload some of their backup data to the cloud, effectively increasing the overall storage capacity. Additionally, the HPE StoreOnce 3620 24TB Capacity Upgrade Kit would directly expand the local storage capacity of the existing StoreOnce system. Network cards and storage enclosures are not relevant to expanding storage capacity in this context, as they either improve networking capabilities or add incompatible external storage.

Checked quickspecs ( https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/c04328820.pdf ) and I agree that A and B likely correct.

A and B are the only logical answers. An additional NIC does not expand the storagecapacity. (By the way, on the page the answer suggests as correct answer, there is no 10/25Gb NIC)

Right Answer it is AB. Options C&D only response to communication speed and option E it's not compatible with StoreOnce
