HPE6-A49 Exam - Question 6

Exam HPE6-A49 Question 6Exam HPE6-A49 Question 6Exam HPE6-A49 Question 6

A hospital needs an upgrade to 802.11ac for its wireless network. The wireless network supports:

✑ wireless medical devices

✑ medical staff voice communicators

✑ laptops in nurse stations

✑ medical staff tablets

✑ visitor and patient personal devices

All of these devices support both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz band. Assuming about a max throughput of 150 Mbps per AP, the hospital would like to support about 4

Mbps per client.

The architect has used VisualRF to plan the AP placement on one of the floors, which the hospital expects will need to support about 800 wireless devices. The exhibits show heatmaps from this plan. The architect also plans to deploy APs in stairwells between floors.

How well does the plan meet the requirements?

Show Answer
Correct Answer: C

The current AP placement meets coverage requirements, but does not meet capacity requirements. Given that each AP can provide a maximum throughput of about 150 Mbps and the requirement is to support 800 devices at 4 Mbps per client, the total required throughput is 800 devices * 4 Mbps = 3200 Mbps. This would necessitate approximately 3200 Mbps / 150 Mbps per AP = about 21.3, or 22 APs. The heatmap shows coverage but may not indicate if there are enough APs for the required capacity. Hence, the placement appears to meet coverage but does not adequately address the capacity requirements.

I would also go with D. Looks right to me

I think this is C. Voice requires around -67Db. Question mentioned that 800 Clients and 4 Mbps. Also mentioned that every AP has 150 Mbps. If it mentions every radio has 150 Mbps, then d would correct. IMO coverage ok but capacity fails.

I think the best answer is B Since the cutoff signal is -56
