Essentials Exam - Question 5

You configured four Device Administrator user accounts for your Firebox. To see a report of witch Device Management users have made changes to the device configuration, what must you do? (Select two.)

Show Answer
Correct Answer: BD

To see a report of which Device Management users have made changes to the device configuration, you should connect to Report Manager or Dimension and view the Audit Trail report for your device. Additionally, you need to configure your device to send audit trail log messages to your WatchGuard Log Server or Dimension Log Server. These configurations ensure the log messages required for generating the Audit Trail report are collected and accessible.

https://www.watchguard.com/help/docs/help-center/en-US/Content/en-US/WG-Cloud/Devices/reports/report_audit_trail_wgc.html ...To collect the data required for this report, in the Logging settings on the Firebox, select the Send log messages when the configuration for this Firebox is changed check box...

The question asked about Device admin, so there is nothing to do with Server Center. Then C is incorrect. Correct answer should be B and D. For D, search for Audit trial in Firebox help file for confirmation.

Agreed. For C to be correct it should say Management Server (from WSM) and not Server Center.

B & D are the correct answer. For the Audit Trail report (B) to work you need to select "Send log messages when the configuration for this Firebox is changed" under log settings in Policy manager (D)

The answer can't be C, as as Server Centre isn't where you go to view logs - https://www.watchguard.com/help/docs/help-center/en-US/Content/en-US/Fireware/wsc/wsc_open-wsc_wsm.html This is how you view the audit logs - https://www.watchguard.com/help/docs/help-center/en-US/Content/en-US/Wi-Fi-Cloud/manage_wirelessmanager/configuration/system/audit_logs.html

I agree with Turak64. You must configure audit logs in selecting Configuration > System Settings > Audit Logs option. And after that you can view audit trail reports in Report Manager or in Dimension.
