Question 87

A Workspace ONE administrator is configuring email for an organization that uses Microsoft Exchange Online (Office 365). The organization has an extreme security posture and wants to require all email attachments be encrypted.

Which component is needed to meet the organization’s requirement?

    Correct Answer: C

To meet the organization's requirement of encrypting all email attachments within Microsoft Exchange Online (Office 365), SEGv2 with content transforms is needed. SEGv2 (Secure Email Gateway) provides the necessary functionality to support attachment encryption and can enforce security policies such as content transforms to ensure encryption. Other components like Workspace ONE Web and Workspace ONE Content focus on secure browsing and content management, but they do not target the specific requirement of email attachment encryption. PowerShell integration with a default blacklist does not provide encryption capabilities for email attachments.

Discussion
MRC26Option: C

With office 365 and Exchange 2010/2013/2016/2019, SEG supports attachment encryption. DLP can be imposed at the application level, but SEG does not encrypt attachments for Workspace ONE Boxer. Well, it's not easy to be sure, but I think it's C. Workspace ONE Web is not a mail solution so I guess it can't be the answer I guess ?

bertassOption: C

Attachment encryption is supported by SEG and hyperlink transformation on Workspace ONE Boxer, only if these features for the Boxer app configuration are enabled on the UEM console. https://gocoding.org/implementation-recommendations-in-workspace-one/#Attachment_Encryption
