Unified Access Gateway (UAG) in VMware Horizon is designed to provide secure access to various types of Horizon resources. These include RDSH-based applications, physical Windows machines, and virtual desktops. UAG is not used to provide access to IoT devices or thin clients directly, as these are not resources that it traditionally supports as endpoints.
