Question 55

An administrator is looking to install SaltStack Config to integrate with existing vRealize Automation environment.

Which two pre-requisites must be met to complete the installation using vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager? (Choose two.)

    Correct Answer: C, D

To install SaltStack Config with vRealize Automation using vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager, two key prerequisites must be met: access to a vRealize Automation tenant and a valid vRealize Automation license key. Access to the tenant is essential as it allows the deployment and management of automation tasks within the vRealize environment. Additionally, a valid license key is required to enable and use the features and services provided by vRealize Automation.

I would rather say C & D

I'm not sure about this one, but let's go through the answers and eliminate what we can: A. Access to NSX-T Load Balancer - I don't think SaltStack has anything to do with NSX-T B. Integrate vRealize Automation with Active Directory - I don't think so... what about pure Linux environments? SaltStack is not dependent on AD. C. Access to a vRealize Automation tenant - Seems reasonable D. A valid vRealize Automation license key - Seems reasonable E. Access to NSX-T Data Center cloud account - Again, what does NSX-T have to do with SaltStack? While I am not sure about this, I would go for C & D because they are the most likely answers and more difficult to eliminate. Remember that in multiple choice tests, eliminating the wrong answers can sometimes be the best way to find the right answer.

B & C vRealize Automation does not support multi-tenancy for SaltStack Config currently. The vRealize Automation tenant can support one SaltStack Config integration and one Salt master. The Salt master can support multiple minions.
