A cloud administrator requires an external secure connection into their data center to use Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Which connection type can they use to connect to an instance of VMware Cloud?
To securely connect to an instance of VMware Cloud using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), the most appropriate connection type is a route-based virtual private network (VPN). Route-based VPNs support dynamic routing protocols like BGP, enabling efficient route exchange and management between the networks. Additionally, they offer more flexibility and scalability compared to policy-based VPNs. Public IPs over the internet do not provide the necessary security, and private L2 VPNs do not support the dynamic routing requirements needed for BGP.
...he new NSX-T backed SDDCs support both BGP route-based and static policy-based VPNs. Our recommendation is to always use route-based VPNs unless if not supported on the other end of the connection... https://aws.amazon.com/es/blogs/apn/connectivity-options-for-vmware-cloud-on-aws-software-defined-data-centers/
I believe BGP is only used on route based VPNs, so D
