During the installation or upgrade of the Connection Server, there is an option to import existing keys and certificates. If the 'import existing certificates' checkbox is selected during this process, the existing keys and certificates will indeed be extracted and imported into the Windows Certificate Store. This ensures that the previous configuration and security settings are maintained without generating new certificates.
B https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Horizon/2203/horizon-upgrades/GUID-79F50098-CCB3-4688-8732-9832413C6454.html 'If your original servers already have TLS certificates signed by a CA, during the upgrade, VMware Horizon imports your existing CA-signed certificate into the Windows Server certificate store.'
Nothing about this question makes any sense. Where else would a valid certificate be, if not in the windows certificate store? In the apple certificate store?.... In the convience store? When upgrading Horizon it retains the existing certificates. I see what PCG1 is referring to in the doc, but again, that statement does not make sense, nor does this question.
