Question 70

An administrator is tasked with enabling two-factor authentication for Horizon administrators to login to the Horizon Console.

Which option will the administrator use that supports two-factor authentication?

    Correct Answer: A

To enable two-factor authentication for Horizon administrators to login to the Horizon Console, the administrator should use Smart Card Authentication. This is the only option because Smart Card Authentication specifically supports administrator authentication in the Horizon Console.

Discussion
Wave17Option: A

Only smart card can do MFA for Adminstrator. read the question carefully it’s said horizon console for admin. RSA and Radius are for end user MFA. https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Horizon/2203/horizon-console-administration/GUID-2A035E01-599A-4A2E-8265-2DE014AB7244.html

Actually, you are correct! I agree

Lamy87Option: A

This question is slightly confusing, but clear when I read it exactly. For the Horizon Administrator Authentication, there is only Smart Card authentication available. Just checked in my lab under the settings of the connection server. Other MFA options are available for user authentication against Horizon. But that is not the question here.

secoowOption: A

Be careful, its saying horizon administrators login to horizon console. Correct answer is A.

Laboratory tested. If you configured smart card authentication on a Connection Server instance, check the smart card authentication setting in Horizon Console. Select Settings > Servers. On the Connection Servers tab, select the Connection Server instance and click Edit. If you configured smart card authentication for users, on the Authentication tab, verify that Smart card authentication for users is set to either Optional or Required. If you configured smart card authentication for administrators, on the Authentication tab, verify that Smart card authentication for administrators is set to either Optional or Required.
