MJ_PLOptions: BCE

B,C,E Bulk migration is disruptive and App Path Resiliency is to optimize traffic.

HeyItsMe2

But MON keeps it from using the local gateway which is a requirement. I’m going with A,B,C.

Rabbit117Options: ABE

A. Mobility Optimized Networking will avoid using the on-prem gateway. https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-HCX/4.3/hcx-user-guide/GUID-D06ABBEE-CF8D-4506-A5DC-61B63D9B9EE5.html B. Replication Assisted vMotion allows for live migration of a large number of VMs. https://blogs.vmware.com/cloud/2019/08/08/hcx-enterprise-replication-assisted-vmotion/ E. Mobility Groups allows for migration based on business requirements. https://blogs.vmware.com/cloud/2020/01/10/vmware-hcx-adds-mobility-groups-simplify-workload-migration-easily-identify-group-plan-migrate-complex-applications/

I go ABC

Blair77Options: ABC

ABC: Must have zero downtime = Replication-Assisted vMotion Must be organized based on service-level agreement (SLA) = Replication-Assisted vMotion (you can schedule the switch over base on SLA) Should not communicate with the on-premises gateway = Mobility Optimized Networking & Network Extension.

BoDaddyOptions: ABE

Bulk Migration is incorrect - it clearly states NO DOWN in the question and in the definition of Bulk Migration above it has"downtime similar to a reboot"

BoDaddy

I agree with A B E

gv84Options: ABC

A, B, C You can't have MON enabled without Network Extension

handracoOptions: ABE

Bulk migration make downtime, App Path Resiliency is only to optimize traffic. Else C or E is hard to choose.

SDDC_GuyOptions: ABE

Agree with Rabbit

HeyItsMe2Options: ABC

A,B,C. You need MON for the gw requirement. RAV can do large sets (which you can organize however you want… by SLA in this case) and to use MON and to have a nondisruptive cut over, you need network extension for L2 stretch.
