Question 42

Which of the following options should be selected in order to temporarily bring up a production VM that has been previously been replicated to the DR site, while the production VM itself is brought down by a problem?

    Correct Answer: D

To temporarily bring up a production VM that has been previously replicated to the Disaster Recovery (DR) site while the production VM is down due to a problem, you should use the Failover of the Replica VM. A Failover switches the operations to the replica VM at the DR site, allowing the services to continue running from the replica. This process does not involve synchronization of the current state because the primary VM is unavailable due to the problem.

Discussion
it_guyOption: D

I think this is D. The question clearly states that the production VM is down because of an issue. A planned failover would replicate those problems to the replica. Not very helpful.
