Which of the following are benefits of using DD Boost integration with Dell EMC Data Domain in Veeam Backup & Replication? (Choose three.)
The benefits of using DD Boost integration with Dell EMC Data Domain in Veeam Backup & Replication include lower network usage, as DD Boost optimizes data transfer by sending only unique data segments. Additionally, it enhances synthetic full backup creation by offloading processing to the Data Domain appliance. Moreover, the integration helps achieve a lower Recovery Time Objective (RTO) by accelerating restore operations due to faster and more efficient data handling.
A-B-D ( D refers to Accelerated Restore of Entire VM) No E: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/emc_dd_supported_features.html?ver=95u4
Dell EMC Data Domain does not support the reverse incremental backup method.
Only know than C and E are wrong, so...
So A B E then?
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/emc_dd.html?ver=95u4 refer the link, so C is not the answer! Dell EMC Data Domain does not support the reverse incremental backup method.
I believe it's ABC. Veeam specifically says, "Currently for VBR, managed file replication is not supported". Veeam also says that after the first full backup is written then the subsequent full backups do not need to send all their data to the deduplication appliance. To me, this would reduce network traffic.
