The backup might fail if the storage is not added into the storage infrastructure within the backup and replication console. When using Direct Storage Access, the storage must be properly configured and recognized within the backup console to ensure that the proxy can access and process the necessary data. If the storage is not added, the proxy server will not be able to see and back up the VMs on that storage, leading to a failure.

should be E
Is A, for backup you don't need write access, but IDE and SATA are not supportet with Direct SAN Access https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/direct_san_access.html?ver=100
IDE and sata are supported. It is in the link you provided "IDE and SATA disks can be processed in the Direct SAN access transport mode."
Did you read the doc you provided? It' in the bottom, YES IDE/SATA are SUPPORTED. Do not share INCORRECT answers here please. The one is E.
yes, E
What do you thing about it? Textual under limitations: Veeam Backup & Replication uses the Direct SAN access transport mode to read and write VM data only during the first session of the replication job. https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/vsphere/direct_san_access.html?ver=100
that refers to the write part (target side) . the read part (source side) always uses direct san acces mode even during the subsequent sessions of replica job
Based on the question, assume this is the first time job and it failed . So the read and write access must be provided to start the job.
In the proxy "[For restore operations] A VMware backup proxy must have write access to LUNs where VM disks are located." Is D the correct The answer in refer to the proxy requerimient.
Sorry, that's the correct "E", I put the "D" wrong. If the question referred to recovery, it would be "D", but in this case the configuration limitation would apply, which would be "E"
correct is E
E : it shoumd be writen VVols not Wols
correct is E
Yes it should E looking at the Limitations for the Direct SAN Access Mode
must be E
E as V V ols are not supported.
