To minimize data loss in the event of a planned power outage at Site A, the correct procedure is to execute a 'Planned Failover.' This method involves synchronizing the data between the primary site (Site A) and the secondary site (Site B) before shutting down the primary site. By doing this, you ensure that the most recent data is replicated to Site B, reducing the risk of data loss. This process is managed through the disaster recovery software, such as Veeam Backup & Replication, ensuring that the transition is seamless and that the virtual machines (VMs) start correctly at Site B.
For those who are voting C: Since Site A will be powered down (Planned Power Outage), vCenter will not be able to power on VMs at Site B. Therefor, the correct answer is B.
Sorry A power outage on Site A is expected
indeed it's B
All site A is down you cant lunch Execute "Planned failover" : For me is " Power on VMs manually through vCenter."
the outage is expected
sorryA power outage on Site A is expected B. Execute "Planned failover".
sorryA power outage on Site A is expected B. Execute "Planned failover".

"C" is the answer, since site A is complete down ,
C is correct
C. Power on VMs manually through vCenter.
A power outage on Site A is expected during the night. expected=planned
As I understand it, you'd be executing a "planned failover" however I don't believe that is an option within the product. Assuming this is triggered before the power outage, one would be executing a "Failover Plan" - call it whatever you want.
