Question 128

A project manager is checking the output of a process that is working through 500 Queue Items. One of the Queue Items has a Retried status. What was the status before it changed to "Retried"?

    Correct Answer: D

Queue items can only change to 'Retried' if they initially had the status of 'Failed'. When a queue item fails, it can then be retried, which changes its status to 'Retried' in the queue management system.

Retried - the item failed with an application exception and was retried. After the Robot finishes retrying the item, the status changes to Failed or Successful, according to your workflow.

The question is a bit vague on what it wants. Successful and In Progress items can not be retried. The option is greyed out. Failed and Abandoned items can be retried and those items will have the status of "retried" attached to them. The newly created queue items will not have any such status even if it came from an item that was retried. Also an In Progress item can not be interacted with on Orchestrator and thus can not be retried until it is abandoned after 24 hours.

The correct answer must be "In Progress"
