TDS-C01 Exam - Question 67

At a minimum, what do you need to create a simple scatter plot?

Show Answer
Correct Answer: AD

To create a simple scatter plot, you need a measure on Columns and a measure on Rows. This setup allows you to plot points on a Cartesian plane, where one measure defines the x-axis and the other measure defines the y-axis, which is the fundamental requirement for a scatter plot.

I think the right answer is A. Scatter plots are created with two to four measures, and zero or more dimensions. The first two measures form the y-axis and x-axis; then the third and/or fourth measures as well as dimensions can be used to add context to the marks.

A is the right answer. In Tableau you create a scatter plot by placing a measure in the columns shelf and another measure in the rows shelf.
