When an index cluster peer freezes a bucket, the cluster master will no longer perform fix-up activities for the bucket. Fix-up activities include tasks such as ensuring that the bucket meets the replication and searchable copies criteria. Once a bucket is frozen, it is considered to be in a final state, and further management activities by the cluster master for that bucket are ceased.
