I think page 68 has a typo. Look at page 67 - it says clicking and dragging to select a smaller timeline does not re-execute.
actually, re-reading slide 68 and a forum post, looks like "zoom to selection" re-executes, but clicking and dragging only filters. So, ACE is correct
