Trust is a foundational element in Scrum, and it impacts all the Scrum values: Respect, Courage, Commitment, Openness, and Focus. Without trust, team members would not be able to effectively adhere to these values, as they would not feel secure enough to respect each other's contributions, courageously make decisions, commit to goals, be open about obstacles, or stay focused on the work at hand.
