PSM II Exam - Question 50

A new Product Owner has joined an existing Scrum Team that has been working together for eight Sprints. The Development Team has grown to have a good understanding of the functionality and business for the product they have been building. The Product Owner, being new to the company, is unsure about his responsibilities.

As a Scrum Master explain what two acceptable ways of helping the Product Owner would be. (Choose two.)

Show Answer
Correct Answer: A,D

Helping a new Product Owner involves guiding them on the importance of engaging with stakeholders to align with organizational or market expectations and encouraging them to collaborate with the Development Team and stakeholders in formulating the Product Backlog. Building relationships with stakeholders allows the Product Owner to understand the market and business needs better, ensuring that the product aligns with those needs. Encouraging collaboration with the development team and stakeholders helps the Product Owner gain insights into the product and leverage the expertise of those who have been working on it, fostering a more comprehensive and effective product backlog.

Why it is not B?

Because the Daily Scrum is meant for the Dev Team, not the PO or SM.

C is wrong because there is no analysis Sprints. A is correct. I am not sure about the remaining options.
