SA Exam - Question 21

Which pillar in the House of Lean focuses on the Customer being the consumer of the work?

Show Answer
Correct Answer: A

The pillar in the House of Lean that focuses on the customer being the consumer of the work is 'Value'. In lean principles, 'Value' is explicitly centered around delivering value to the customer, ensuring that each action and process ultimately benefits them. This aligns directly with the idea of the customer being the consumer of the work.

There are two pillars of lean Continuous Improvement and Respect for People. Respect for People, a core value of SAFe tells to embrace 'your customer is whoever consume your work'. So answer should be 'C'.

"A" looks to be a direct answer of the question, whereas "C" doesn't seem to fit the bill so well.

Respect for People is correct. This is one of SAFe's core values which says Embrace ‘your customer is whoever consumes your work.' https://scaledagileframework.com/safe-core-values/
