You need to set Category on the Feature to group them under tabs

B is the correct answer! Option layout will be present in the Bundle product, not in it's features. Choosing Category on the features will group the features in tabs.

Option A puts all the features into tabs, but the question mentions that an additional layer of categorization is needed, hence B is correct answer.

It seems to be about groupings Product Features, having different features in the same tab. This is done by using Categories on Product Options

Placing Features into Categories separates them in tabs based on category

There's no such field as "Option layout" on Product feature object - there's only "Option Selection Method". "Option layout" is created on Product object.

I think it's A. Option Layout on Product just does that. Displays Features by some grouping either in a Tab format, or Wizard or just the default selection. Source: https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.cpq_config_layout_options.htm&type=5

The Option Layout field on the lead product determines the layout and user experience of configuration pages for bundles that use features. There are three values for Option Layout: sections, tabs, and wizard. https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/cpq-product-configuration/change-the-feature-user-experience
