Certified Identity and Access Management Designer Exam - Question 22

Universal Containers (UC) has decided to use Salesforce as an Identity Provider for multiple external applications. UC wants to use the Salesforce App Launcher to control the apps that are available to individual users.

Which three steps are required to make this happen? (Choose three.)

Show Answer
Correct Answer: ABCE

To use Salesforce as an Identity Provider and control the apps available to individual users through the App Launcher, three steps are required. First, you need to add each Connected App to the App Launcher with a Start URL. Second, you need to create a Connected App for each external application to enable the integration and permissions. Lastly, you need to set up Salesforce as a SAML IdP with My Domain to allow Salesforce to act as an Identity Provider using SAML. Setting up an Auth Provider for each external application is not necessary in this context.

E is not correct as the external Apps are not Auth providers they are service providers
