A Quote has one Quote Line for a subscription product with an End Date that differs from the Quote's End Date.
Which date will CPQ use to calculate the prorate multiplier?
CPQ uses the Quote Line date to calculate the prorate multiplier when there is a Quote Line for a subscription product with an End Date that differs from the Quote's End Date. This ensures that the calculation is specific to the subscription details of that particular Quote Line, providing an accurate prorated amount based on its specific date range.
The order of precedence for evaluating subscription dates is as follows (1) Quote Line, (2) Quote Line Group, and (3) Quote https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=000383503&type=1
This explained it perfectly. Thank you!
From the link you posted, If there is a Start Date populated on every record, the Quote Line Start Date will take priority over the Quote Line Group or Quote. Even though there is a Subscription Term populated on the Quote Line and the Quote Line Group, CPQ will look to the Quote End Date first before looking at Subscription Term for this evaluation.

The answer is C. "If Start Date is given on every Quote Line record, Quote Line Start Date takes precedence over Quote Line Group or Quote. Even though Subscription Term is given on Quote Line and Quote Line Group, CPQ looks at Quote End Date first before looking at Subscription Term for End Date evaluation"
