Which 2 statements should be recorded under the Business options heading?
The statements recorded under the Business options heading should reflect different strategic choices or directions the business might take to address its objectives. 'The re-engineering of selected business functions would not provide the required outcome' and 'The lack of up-to-date technology in MFH means a re-engineering of existing services will not necessarily deliver the performance improvements required' both discuss the feasibility and outcomes of re-engineering and updating technology, which are crucial business considerations. The other options are more focused on the execution of specific projects or tasks rather than broader business strategies.
It is not A, because of this "would not provide the required outcome". Correct answer is C and D. "Outsource selected business functions" and "Use PRINCE2".
Business options in this case: The following options were considered: Do nothing. Re-engineer selected business functions. Outsource selected business functions.
B) The lack of up-to-date technology in MFH means a re-engineering of existing services will not necessarily deliver the performance improvements required. C) Use external consultants to provide guidance on the detailed design of the outsourced services.
C and D seem to be Project Approach rather than Business Options to me.
I agree with Kanduur. So, only A is the right answer. E is not correct either as the other option is to outsource, not to review a shortlist of service provider.
I am not very comfortable with the answers!!!
Can someone else confirm the answers here please?
Specifically E, reading again I guess this is an "option", but sounded like a more granular task, than a high level option. Im still a little confused here
A and E should be the best answers...
