Show Answer
Correct Answer: B

The 'controlling a stage' process is used during the 'directing a project' process to monitor and control the work of a stage. For this question - either the question is given wrong, or the answer is wrong. If the question is given correctly, then my answer would be during Directing A Project Process as : Reference Prince 2 - 17.3 This process will be used for each delivery stage of a project. Starting up a closing a project process, starting up a project process and initiating a project process are not exactly delivery processes to my understanding, so I would go with B. During the "Directing a project process" but I am not completely sure. Please provide some input

Correct answer is C. Section 17.3: The Controlling a Stage Process may be used during the Initiation Stage, especially for large or complex projects.

If you check Figure 13.2 then it gives an answer: the question is wrong. It can be used in Initiation and closure too.

Closing a project is not a management stage. Initiation of a project is a management stage in Prince2 framework. For large and complex projects, Controlling a stage' process is used during 'Initiating a stage'. I think the correct answer is therefore Option C
