Question 379

A large corporation is transforming itself from a predictive to agile approach. A project team with knowledge of agile practices is experiencing significant conflicts with the executives regarding the processes to be followed.

How should these conflicts be resolved?

    Correct Answer: C

In situations where there is conflict between a project team and executives over the processes to be followed, the most effective approach is to negotiate and reach an agreement on a process. This ensures that both parties' concerns and needs are addressed. Through negotiation, a tailored approach can be developed that balances the team’s agile practices with the executives' requirements, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation. Furthermore, agreeing on a process together helps in aligning the project goals and methods, facilitating smoother transitions and better collaboration.
