PCNSA Exam - Question 246

What are two valid selections within an Antivirus profile? (Choose two.)

Show Answer
Correct Answer: BD

Valid selections within an Antivirus profile typically include actions such as 'Default,' which uses pre-configured settings, and 'Drop,' which will silently drop the malicious traffic. 'Deny' is generally associated with broader policy actions rather than specific antivirus profiles, and 'Block IP' is more commonly found in Anti-Spyware profiles rather than Antivirus profiles.

You can configure the following actions in an Antivirus Profiles: Default; Allow; Alert; Drop; Reset Client; Reset Server; Reset Both. https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/pan-os/10-1/pan-os-admin/policy/security-profiles

"Deny" is a policy action and "Block IP" is part of the Anti-Spyware profile. This leaves "Drop" and "Default"

Its a tricky question. Only anti-virs profile does not have block-IP
