The Linux administrator team has requested access rights to any current or future Linux VM in the environment.
What entity should be selected when assigning this new role?
When assigning access rights that need to apply to any current or future Linux Virtual Machine (VM) in the environment, the correct entity to select is 'Project'. In cloud and virtualized environments, a 'Project' typically groups resources such as VMs, storage, and networks together under a management unit. Assigning roles at the project level allows administrators to manage all VMs within the project seamlessly, including any new ones that are created in the future. This ensures that the Linux administrator team will have the necessary permissions for existing and future Linux VMs without needing to update permissions continually.
I think that it is C,when you assigning a role ,there is no Project Item.
D is correct answer. https://next.nutanix.com/prism-infrastructure-management-26/prism-user-permissions-what-are-the-options-37266 Please see table in the above link, Project admin Manages cloud objects (roles, VMs, Apps, Marketplace) belonging to a project
After I spent some time reading , D, is he right answer: A project (let's say Linux) can have multiple VM's in it. VM Count Displays the number of VMs in the project. (number) https://next.nutanix.com/prism-infrastructure-management-26/prism-user-permissions-what-are-the-options-37266 VM Count Displays the number of VMs in the project. (number)
A should be the only answer, because in Prism Central only BCD cannot be found while creating a new role. (I just go check it in Prism Central, please correct me if I'm wrong)
Projects seems the right answer: https://support-portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Prism-Central-Guide-Prism-v5_10:mul-explore-entities-administration-pc-c.html
C. Category ?
The question is tricky. Actually i think project is the right answer because the "Linux administrator team" let me guess it's a team inside a project, so if the vm are created in the scope of the project they can manage it. In the other hand if the question states about general admin of the nutanix infrastructure the right choice is category. The second options seems has less sense. Surely the question need an additional info. Correct me in case
