YANG (Yet Another Next Generation) is a data modeling language used for the NETCONF (Network Configuration Protocol) network management protocol. YANG modules define the data exchanged between a network device and a management system. The statements 'Consists of containers and leaves', 'Uses NETCONF and RESTCONF to transport data', and 'Provides separation of configuration and state data' are all accurate descriptions of YANG modules. However, 'Requires proprietary MIBS' does NOT apply to YANG modules. YANG does not rely on Management Information Bases (MIBs), which are associated with SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).
