Users can create a Customer Return Authorization from an Invoice and a Cash Sale. An Invoice reflects a sale on account for which a Customer Return Authorization could be necessary if the customer returns the product. A Cash Sale represents an immediate sale transaction where a return might occur. Therefore, both of these transaction types are valid sources for generating a Customer Return Authorization.
