Question 13

Click the Exhibit button.

You are installing a new FAS cluster. The management network must be on tagged VLAN 11 for remote administration by a service provider.

Referring to the exhibit, which two ports will allow service provider access to both cluster and node management LIFs? (Choose two.)

    Correct Answer: B, C

Based on the exhibit, the management network needs to be on a tagged VLAN 11 for remote administration. The e0M interface, designated for management, does not support VLAN tagging, so it cannot be used for VLAN 11. Therefore, the two ports that can allow the service provider access to both cluster and node management LIFs would be those that support VLAN tagging, which are e0a-11 and e0b-11. These ports can be configured to support the tagged VLAN 11 while ensuring proper access to the management network.

I don't get this one. If a service Provider should access the Cluster Management, why should he access via the Data LAN when it is not even physically connected to the rest?
