Which two statements are true about the LIFs that are used for a cluster peer relationship? (Choose two.)
Which two statements are true about the LIFs that are used for a cluster peer relationship? (Choose two.)
The LIFs must use the default intercluster service policy and at least one LIF per node is required on each cluster. These requirements ensure proper configuration and functionality of the cluster peering relationship. The default intercluster service policy is essential for inter-cluster communication, and having at least one LIF per node ensures that every node can participate in the peering process.
You must have created intercluster LIFs on every node in the clusters that are being peered. Node is must one lif
B & D - have configured that several times
Should be C,D https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap/peering/create-cluster-relationship-93-later-task.html
B+D for sure
100% should be B and D
Should be BD Different IPspace are only use when use same ip address in cluster.
Should be C,D,
Answer is B&D. C is wrong for a couple of reasons...1. Technically it's the ports that are in broadcast domains, not LIFs. 2. IC LIFs can definitely share the same port as data LIFs
Due to this documentation (prerequisites for peering) 1. C https://thinksystem.lenovofiles.com/storage/help/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcluster_management_using_thinksystem_storage_manager_for_dm_series_9-9-1%2F729E6FCF-9640-47B8-8C20-EC0B89F8129B_.html "All ports that are used to communicate with a given remote cluster must be in the same IPspace." = can be considered as dedicated IPspace? 2. D https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap/peering/create-cluster-relationship-93-later-task.html "At least one LIF per node is required on each cluster."
