To join node 02 to the cluster, you need to provide the IP address of a private cluster network interface from an existing node in the cluster. The IP address 169.254.145.151 is the cluster IP for node 01 and is part of the private cluster network. Therefore, this IP address would have been used to join node 02 to the cluster during setup.
Should be C Join cluster session , required to enter IP address of an interface on private cluster network from the cluster you want to join https://thinksystem.lenovofiles.com/storage/help/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcommand_reference_9-8%2Fcluster__setup.html
Cluster IP of node 01 is required
If you want to join Node 2, you have to enter a private adress from the Cluster node 1 169.254....
Due to the exhibition, Cluster Interfaces for the NODE 1 169.254.145.151 (for port e0a) and 169.254.58.159 (for port e0b). If we want to join NODE 2 to the cluster we need to use IP Address of a Cluster Interface from a Node in the Cluster. A - is node 2 MGMT IP, B - is node 2 cluster IP (after joining cluster), D - cluster MGMT IP
C 100%, I have built 100's of Clusters
To join node 2 a cluster ip of node 1 is required
Join cluster session , required to enter IP address of an interface on private cluster network
Should be C
Voting D https://thinksystem.lenovofiles.com/storage/help/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcommand_reference_9-8%2Fcluster__setup.html This states you provide the cluster IP when joining an existing cluster. C doesn't make sense as that looks like a node management IP
