NS0-162 Exam - Question 46

Which configuration is supported using NetApp's All SAN Array (ASA)?

Show Answer
Correct Answer: A

NetApp's All SAN Array (ASA) is designed for high-performance, low-latency SAN environments and is typically configured in a 2-node cluster to ensure high availability and performance. This configuration allows for the redundancy and failover capabilities necessary in enterprise storage environments. Larger clusters, such as 12-node or 24-node clusters, are not typically associated with the ASA architecture. Therefore, the supported configuration for the NetApp ASA is a 2-node cluster.

I think the answer is B: ONTAP 9.9.1: ASA new features ONTAP 9.9.1 adds three new ASA enhancements: • ASA can now be expanded to 12-node clusters • NVMe/FC protocol support • AFF-to-ASA conversions https://www.netapp.com/media/10379-tr4515.pdf

I'd actually say 2 nodes. The test seems to only ask questions relating to features available in ONTAP 9.8 and below. As of now.
