Which two conditions would prevent an ONTAP upgrade? (Choose two.)
An ONTAP upgrade would be prevented in the case of an offline volume and a failed disk. If a volume is offline, it means that it is not accessible, which would unnecessarily complicate or disrupt the upgrade process. A failed disk can lead to data integrity issues, and it is crucial to resolve disk failures prior to performing an upgrade to ensure the stability and reliability of the system.
B & E for sure
B & E Offline volume + failed disk
Im going with B and E https://kb.netapp.com/onprem/ontap/Upgrade/Can_ONTAP_update_be_performed_with_single_disk_failure https://kb.netapp.com/onprem/ontap/dm/System_Manager/ONTAP_upgrade_fails_due_to_offline_volumes
B & E Offline volume and failed disk
Another tricky question, because if you google offline LIF, offline volume and failed disk as reasons for preventing an ONTAP upgrade, it states all 3 will prevent the upgrade.
I thought offline volume would prevent ONTAP B.
i will go with A and E : Disk for sure and the below link support my opinion about lif: https://kb.netapp.com/on-prem/ontap/Upgrade/Upgrade-KBs/ONTAP__upgrade_fails_when_the_LIF_is_down the below link is a bug, it's not supposed to work this way. https://kb.netapp.com/onprem/ontap/dm/System_Manager/ONTAP_upgrade_fails_due_to_offline_volumes
