When you restore a volume from a Snapshot copy, all data that was written to the volume after the Snapshot copy was created is lost, as the volume is reverted back to the state it was in at the time of the Snapshot. Additionally, all Snapshot copies that were created after the Snapshot copy was created are lost because the volume reverts to its state at the time of the selected Snapshot, invalidating any subsequent Snapshots.
