On which type of network interfaces are the cluster interconnect LIFs created?
On which type of network interfaces are the cluster interconnect LIFs created?
Cluster interconnect logical interfaces (LIFs) are created on physical ports. These ports are designated for cluster communication, ensuring the proper functioning and connectivity of the nodes within the cluster.
Cluster interconnect can only use a physical port, not an ifgrp
Correct answer is D
Answer is D
Sorry, I misread the question to mean intercluster LIFs. Answer is D.
This question is terrible.... LIFs aren't created on network interfaces, they're created on network ports. And all answers except A could be correct...
The Intercluster network uses logical interfaces, or LIFs, that correspond to IP addresses and represent network access points to a node. The Intercluster network uses only Intercluster LIFs. Intercluster LIFs are assigned to ports as part of the cluster peer configuration process. https://kb.netapp.com/onprem/ontap/os/What_is_an_Intercluster_network
