Which two performance threshold policies in OnCommand Unified manager are configurable? (Choose two.)
Which two performance threshold policies in OnCommand Unified manager are configurable? (Choose two.)
In OnCommand Unified Manager, user-defined performance thresholds and volume-related performance thresholds are configurable. User-defined thresholds allow customization based on specific needs, while volume thresholds can be adjusted according to varying conditions and performance requirements. System-defined and dynamic performance thresholds are set by the system and are not configurable.
I think the problem here is recognising the difference between "thresholds" (user-defined, system-defined and dynamic) and "threshold policies" which can be user-defined (including threshold policies on objects like volumes and aggregates), system-defined and dynamic. See: https://tinyurl.com/y7br8bq6 (The NetApp docs referred to by other in long form in other contribs). This reference specifically states that system-defined and dynamic "thresholds" are not configurable. So, if the real exam question is exactly as presented here, then the answer must be AB, because it is referring to "threshold policies". If there is a typo here, and therefore the real question does state "NOT" configurable, then the answer must be CD. I'll wait for the day of judgement and make my decision then when the evidence is revealed. That's my best shot.
Volume is not a policy, as anonymous515 said, question is : "....... are not configurable"
are you guys reading the same question : Which two performance threshold policies in OnCommand Unified manager are configurable? A and B are the only configurable answers.
ans is AB
If we go by the reference, I guess the question has a typo. Should be "Which two performance threshold policies in OnCommand Unified manager are not configurable?"
It's the opposite. System-defined performance thresholds and dynamic performance thresholds are set by Unified Manager and are not configurable
The correct answers are:- A - User Defined B - Volume As the link says, the other two (system-defined and dynamic) are set by Unified Manager so not configurable.
For me it is A and C: https://docs.netapp.com/ocum-94/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.netapp.doc.onc-um-perf-ag%2FGUID-08FF3CE3-7B5B-470F-90F3-BFA794737EBB.html Unified Manager monitors the performance of two types of workloads: User-defined workloads These workloads consist of FlexVol volumes and FlexGroup volumes that you have created in your cluster. System-defined workloads These workloads consist of internal system activity.
RUNNERBEAN is right, it will be A and B, system-defined and dynamic are not configurable https://docs.netapp.com/ocum-94/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.netapp.doc.onc-um-perf-ag%2FGUID-B0C4679D-E783-47B5-BD22-24A72CCF10FA.html
So, C & D are correct right?
