Service openings shall NOT be made in what type of duct?
Service openings should not be made in flexible ducts. These ducts are not designed to be accessed easily, and opening them can compromise their structure and functionality. In contrast, metal, duct board, and fibrous glass ducts are more rigid and can accommodate service openings for access and maintenance.
