You have a team in Microsoft Teams named Team1 that has the channels shown in the following table.
Which channels support moderation?
In Microsoft Teams, channel moderation is available for standard channels, but not for the general channel or private channels. The table provided lists two types of channels: standard and private. The General channel, while it is a standard channel, does not support moderation. Therefore, only Channel1, which is a standard channel, supports moderation. This makes Channel1 the correct answer.
Option A it is correct. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-moderator-roles-and-settings-in-a-channel-6ac54758-3440-4f6a-9bd5-cebf97cb7ea6 "Note: Channel moderation is available for standard channels on Teams for desktop or web. It's not available for the general channel or private channels." I have tested it on a Teams. In General Channel not exist moderation options
To be more precise, channel NAMED "General" (which is default channel) doesn't allow moderation (just give it a try).
You can modify the channel permissions so only owners can post, providing similar functionality. That's not the same as moderation though, that's definitely not supported for the general channel.
There is literally a section called moderation in General Channel setting. It does not have to be enabled like in additional standard channels you create but moderation is still available.
Channel moderation is supported on General Channel as it is a standard channel.
general is the channel name but the channel type is standard

E is correct
It is not. Just try it if you can.
You have to look at the type of channel and not the names therefore there are two standard channels, and both can be moderated.

One of the comment in question #72 is mentioned below the link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-moderator-roles-and-settings-in-a-channel-in-microsoft-teams-6ac54758-3440-4f6a-9bd5-cebf97cb7ea6 In the link, you can see below "Note: Channel moderation is available for standard channels on Teams for desktop or web. It's not available for the general channel or private channels."
Type of the Channel is "Standard' Answer is E, Ignore the Name of the Channel.
Look at the channel type. General channel, standard channel, and private channel. Standard Channels allow for moderation. There are only two channel types presented. Standard channel (Channel name: Channel1 and General) and Private channel (Channel name: Chanel2) A is not correct. This is more of a english language question than a technical question.
You always have one Standard Channel created by default in Teams when you create a new Team – it is called General. Channel moderation is available for standard channels on Teams for desktop or web. It's not available for the general channel (which is a standard channel) or private channels.
In Microsoft Teams, moderation features can be enabled for standard channels. This allows team owners and members to control who can start new posts, respond to posts, and add or remove members as moderators. Private channels do not support moderation. Given the channels in Team1, only standard channels support moderation. Let's analyze the typical structure: General (Standard channel) Project X (Standard channel) Confidential (Private channel) Announcements (Standard channel)
I have just tested in my test account and my company's account. Both show that the answer is E. In Teams (both app and web), if you go to any channels named General, which is the default channel, and click on ellipsis symbol -> select "Manage channel", then you will see Moderation section that says "Set channel moderation preferences", where you can select from three moderation options such as "Anyone can post messages", etc... Although the appearance is different from other standard channels, it explicitly states "Moderation". If you have your Teams account, please have a try by yourself and check if you can also see the same screen.
You are correct I have tested this and confirm you are right
It's A. I've just tried. Need to take into account channel name AND channel type. General as a name is default channel and doesn't allow moderation even if it is of type Standard.
