MB-901 Exam - Question 11

A company plans to deploy Dynamics 365 Customer Service and integrate it with two proprietary apps. The company does not have a virtual private network

(VPN) or secure network.

Which two reasons require deploying the app to a private cloud? Each correct answer presents a complete solution.

NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

Show Answer
Correct Answer: AB

Deploying an app to a private cloud is justified by strict legal and compliance requirements because a private cloud provides more control over data security and regulatory compliance. Additionally, a private cloud can support legacy applications that may not be compatible with public cloud environments. Therefore, the need for a legacy operating system and stringent compliance policies both justify the use of a private cloud.

I think this should be AB (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/principles-cloud-computing-dynamics-365-deployment/7-public-private-hybrid-clouds) as the main reason for using Private Cloud would be security.

A & D is correct. You don't need to go to a Private Cloud for security and compliance because Azure Cloud Services offer both. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/principles-cloud-computing-dynamics-365-deployment/5-compliance-terms-requirements

Which 2 reasons REQUIRE ............... although answer B could be a reason for using Private Cloud (more secure), it does not REQUIRE the use of Private. I believe the answer is correct because if there is no internet access from the work computers, employees could not access a Public Cloud system. So it REQUIRES a Private Cloud.

Considering D365 CS (Customer Service) is a cloud application, and they want to deploy 2 apps in conjunction with D365 CS, then AB should be the right answer, as D - they would not be able to use CS

A and B: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/principles-cloud-computing-dynamics-365-deployment/7-public-private-hybrid-clouds This approach has several advantages: You can ensure the configuration can support any scenario or legacy application. You have control and responsibility over security. Private clouds can meet strict security, compliance, or legal requirements.

The internet and a private cloud are two different things, you dont need access to the internet to be able to access a private cloud, it can be hosted in the room next to you.

A & B are correct (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-au/overview/what-is-a-private-cloud/) Private Cloud definition: The private cloud is defined as computing services offered either over the Internet or a private internal network and to selected users only instead of the general public. In question it is mention --> The company does not have a virtual private network (VPN) or secure network. it mean it will have internet Option D is wrong.
