Your company intends to deploy a number of Microsoft Surface devices that run Windows 10, using Windows AutoPilot.

You have been tasked with preparing the devices for the deployment by importing a CSV file via the Microsoft 365 Device Management portal.

Show Answer
Correct Answer: B

To prepare Microsoft Surface devices for deployment using Windows AutoPilot and to import a CSV file via the Microsoft 365 Device Management portal, you should use the Device Enrollment and Devices blades. The Device Enrollment blade allows you to configure and manage the enrollment settings, and the Devices blade enables you to view and manage the enrolled devices. This combination is essential for setting up and managing devices for deployment with Windows AutoPilot.

What are Devices blades?

Blades can be individual servers or clients that plug into a single cabinet or individual port cards that add connectivity to a switch. A blade is typically a hot swappable hardware device, but a software architecture could use the blade terminology as well.

Never heard of the term Blades before. If this is an old version why isn't this updated??

I think it's the side menu that appears, on the right, when configuring something

B. The Device Enrollment and Devices blades. The Device Enrollment blade allows you to configure and manage device enrollment settings, while the Devices blade allows you to view and manage enrolled devices.

The Answer is correct: B The navigation model in the Azure portal is built around the concept of blades. Blades are the visualization elements used to describe a resource or to display a form as part of a workflow. Blades open from left to right in a continuous manner, so you always know what your position in a flow is and can always go back.

In the Microsoft Intune admin center, select Devices > Windows > Windows enrollment > Devices (under Windows Autopilot Deployment Program) Source: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/autopilot/add-devices

This is infuriating. These questions are arbitrary, designed to screw you. Every course i followed said that this would be a high level exam and not too technical. I am a marketing rep. damn it, why would i know what the H a blade is? This whole thing is highly deceptive. The MS900 learning path is designed to help you describe something, they do not go into this kind of detail. These types of questions are impossible to answer unless you have preexisting IT experience or actually dive far deeper into the dashboard itself and not only the provided learning materials. The problem here is, it is too much damn information to retain, too many acronyms and technical terms to remember. I failed the first time i took this exam because i panicked with all the stuff i had to remember, in the end the exam won't even cover some subjects. Completely infuriating.

I see more people complaining about this. This needs to be updated. We are in 2025, this does not follow the current learning path MS900 provides. I read the damn materials many times and never encountered the term "Blade". I'd remember since it's such a distinctive term.
