A company backs up data to on-premises servers at their main facility. The company currently has 30 TB of archived data that infrequently used. The facility has download speeds of 100 Mbps and upload speeds of 20 Mbps.

You need to securely transfer all backups to Azure Blob Storage for long-term archival. All backup data must be sent within seven days.

Solution: Create a file share in Azure Files. Mount the file share to the server and upload the files to the file share. Transfer the files to Azure Blob Storage.

Does this meet the goal?

Show Answer
Correct Answer: B

The proposed solution does not meet the goal due to the limited upload speed of 20 Mbps. Transferring 30 TB of data at this speed would take significantly longer than seven days. A more appropriate solution would involve using Azure's Import/Export service, which allows physical disks to be shipped to an Azure data center, ensuring the data transfer can be completed within the required timeframe.

Correct, if you copy, it will never completes in 7days as per the speed. So best solution is to use import/export.

You are limited to your 20Mbps upload speed. Therefore, it would take more than seven days to transfer data. No is the answer
