    Enable personalization in a report

You can enable the feature either in Power BI Desktop or the Power BI service. You can also enable it in embedded reports.

Discussion
ManikomOption: A

Also C is correct but I guess the key is 'The solution must minimize development' so A should be the correct one

PinkZebra

Agreed. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-personalize-visuals?tabs=powerbi-service#enable-personalization-in-a-report

I disagree question says "choose between viewing the report as a line chart or a column chart" C gives the user only those 2 options. I guess A does also... this question is tricky... but I think "Minimize dev work" is trying to steer you away from the B and D. I hate questions like these.

ApacheKafka

Nothing is tricky. Answer is A. It says Column chart OR(not AND) Line Chart... Also, Considering A minimizes everything. A is the answer. Where is the minimal effort in creating another chart, a bookmark and a button?

anormalhuman

With option A you allow users to choose any visual and that increases maintenance SIGNIFICANTLY. Correct answer is C. Dev effort for C is pretty minimal.

toussdev

C can't work, because you need 2 bookmarks not one.

bmaaaataOption: C

C sounds good for me. In A option you are enabling users to do much more then switching between chart types which is not requaired in question.

LyCarOption: C

The answer says C but the explanation given relates to A. Beginning to regret paying for this nonsense

BI_lifeOption: C

I choose C because viewers are not allowed to make changes on visuals in my understanding.

[Removed]Option: C

I vote for C. The requirement says that "You need to enable users to choose between viewing the report as a line chart or a column chart". So you need to give them the choice between those two options. Going with A gives them many more options and customizations.

beckett123Option: A

Correct answer is stated as C but the solution is for option A. A is less development effort so should be correct in this specific instance.

LL_SevaOption: C

C is the answer

AldeusOption: C

I don't think A is correct. How is making the users to create visuals minimizing development and maintenance effort?

DsbuffOption: A

A is correct because users can switch between a line chart and a column chart on their own without requiring any additional development or maintenance from us. Ref: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-personalize-visuals?tabs=powerbi-desktop

Following link demonstrates exactly what has asked in this question. https://radacad.com/power-bi-bookmark-with-or-without-data

OranjizzzOption: C

I believe the correct answer is C. A allows too much personalization and the questions requests just between the two visuals. C is more effort but limits to just the requested visuals so C.

d5b48ffOption: C

It's C

HenryBizOption: C

Both A and C work, but I prefer C here because the requirement is to allow users to choose between Column and line charts, so I would rather limit their choice and I don't need to rely on users to customise the charts themselves, they may not know how to.

billerk13Option: C

C is the correct answer. A is not the most efficient solution as it requires each user to personalise visuals.

cs3122Option: A

C would work, but I choose A because it states that we want to "minimize development and maintenance time".

cs3122

Also note that the provided answer even talks about report personalization. It doesn't even pertain to the selection C they provided.

SilviaSOption: A

The easiest way is A. Check this video: Perspectives and personalized visuals https://youtu.be/20HwiEhIShc?si=xm7xx6u7gmP6VGKx

AdrianBalescuOption: A

1. if you choose A, then report users can: -Change the visualization type. -Swap out a measure or dimension. -Add or remove a legend. -Compare two or more measures. -Change aggregations, etc. 2. also must minimize DEV effort from my end, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-personalize-visuals?tabs=powerbi-desktop
