To ensure that [email protected] is alerted when a resource lock is deleted, follow these steps in the Azure portal: First, enter the Azure portal and search for 'Monitor'. In the Monitor window, go to 'Alerts' and click on '+New Alert Rule'. In the 'Scope' section, click 'Select resource' and filter by resource type 'Management locks' to select the appropriate resources. Then, in the 'Condition' section, click on 'Select condition' and choose the 'Delete management locks' condition. In the 'Action group' section, select or create an action group to notify Debbie. To create a new action group, click 'Create action group', name it, and proceed to 'Next: Notifications >'. Select 'Email/SMS message/Push/Voice', then tick 'Azure app Push Notifications' and input [email protected] in the Azure account email field. Finalize by clicking 'OK', giving the notification a name, and moving to 'Review & Create' to complete the setup. Name your alert rule and click 'Create alert rule' to activate the alert.

how does Simulations look on exam ?

It's more like a real lab, a browser that's allowed only to access portal.azure.com. But as exam takers, no labs appeared in AZ-500 for over a year.

Sign in to the Azure portal. Navigate to Monitor. In the Monitor window, select Alerts > New alert rule. In the “Create rule” window, you’ll need to specify the Scope. You can select the subscription and the specific resources you want to monitor. In the same window, you’ll need to define the Condition. This is where you specify that you want to trigger an alert for the event of a resource lock being deleted. You can do this by choosing the “Activity Log - Administrative” signal and then selecting the “Delete Lock” operation under the “EVENT” category. Next, you’ll define the Action Group. This is where you specify who gets notified when the alert is triggered. You can create a new action group and add Debbie’s email (<a href="/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection" class="__cf_email__" data-cfemail="12767770707b7752717d7c667d617d3c717d7f">[email protected]</a>) to it. Finally, give your alert rule a Name, a Description (optional), and set the Severity. Then click Create alert rule.
