Question 13

An organization uses a public-facing Power Apps portal.

You need to change the layout of a specific web page.

What are two possible ways to achieve the goal? Each correct answer presents a complete solution.

NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

    Correct Answer: C, D

To change the layout of a specific web page in a public-facing Power Apps portal, you can use the portal app directly or manage it through editing options. Firstly, by selecting the portal app and then selecting 'Manage,' you can access settings that allow for the configuration of various elements including web page layouts. Secondly, selecting the portal app and then clicking 'Edit' will enable you to make specific changes to the web page content and structure within the Power Apps portal environment. Option A involves editing the Portal Management app itself, which is not intended to directly modify the layout of a specific web page within the portal. Option B, for 'Play,' means running the application, which would not allow for any edits to be made. Therefore, the correct approaches are using 'Manage' or 'Edit' within the portal app.

Why not AD?

I think, A is not correct answer, my view is: To manage portal the app "Portal Management" should be play as then only it allows managing other portal apps and configurations. We do not want to edit this app instead it should be run or play to manage others portal apps.

BerserkRose

B is definitely not right, since playing means running the application and wont be able to edit it

tmub47Options: BD

If you select A, you wont be editing any portal or web page, you will be editing the Portal management Model driven app. Answer is B and D

AD is Correct

I do not believe it is A. You want to run the management app to manage the portal config, you are not editing the management app itself. Answer would be BD

sadzagOptions: BD

B&D we can play/open Portal management and then modify the layout

VrooomOptions: CD

C. Go to the app. Click on "Manage." D. Go to the app. Click on "Edit." Here's why these options are correct; C. By selecting the app and clicking on "Manage " you can access the settings, for managing the portal, such as configuring pages and layouts. D. Selecting the app and clicking on "Edit" allows you to make changes to pages and layouts within the portal app. This is where you can modify how a particular web page looks. Options A (Select the Portal Management app and then select Edit) and B (Select the Portal Management app and select Play) are not suitable for making changes to specific web pages within the portal app. Option A is related to modifying the settings of the Portal Management app itself while option B is about testing or previewing the portal, rather than editing page layouts.

AD are correct. tested in lab

BD As when you do Edit it opens the designer app where we can change the model driven app capabilities so when we play we will get the app where we can go and change the required web page.

FCTopicsOptions: BD

BD are correct. Portal Management is a model-driven application, which is the one that will allow us to configure the different portals that we have configured in an environment, as well as allowing us to change the layout of a web page. Taking this into account, the first thing to do is to run the application, so the correct answer is option B and D.

peyOptions: AC

Both options A and C provide ways to access the portal settings and make changes to the layout of specific web pages. The Portal Management app allows administrators to manage various aspects of the portal, including editing web pages and their layout. Selecting "Edit" within the Portal Management app or "Manage" within the portal app interface would typically lead to options for modifying the layout of specific web pages.

A would just edit the model-driven app for managing the portal, not actually do any mgmt.

SauradjOptions: AD

From MS Docs: "You can use the Portal Management app, a model-driven Power App, for advanced configuration of your Power Pages sites." That means we have to run the app to edit the portal pages and not edit the app iteself.

juan54Options: AD

AD seems to be OK. Why "B" , if you pressed "play" you will get the portal rendition and not be able to edit no ?
