A Power BI workspace is a collaborative environment where you can securely share dashboards and reports with your project team. >> If the dashboard is part of a set of dashboards and reports that you need to distribute to many colleagues, then publishing an app is likely the best choice.

I agree, the question mentions reportS and dashboardS. So a (one) workspace is not enough

A workspace can contain multiple reports and dashboards, and you can also make multiple workspaces for multiple people. Think of it as a folder for your files.

Wrong. Because its sensitive you must not give workspace access, just published app

Dashboards live in a workspace, since you already have the dashboards, you'll also already have a workspace.

I just passed today 2/2023 with a 900, and I can say with 100 certainty that the correct answer is D, Workspace. The reason I can say that is because "Publish an app" wasn't even one of the available answers to choose.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-roles-new-workspaces Refer to the link, as there are four roles that we can assign while adding a user to the workspace, we can select a "viewer" role to give only read access to the user.

D. a Power BI Workspace Explanation: A Power BI workspace is a collaborative environment where you can securely work with your colleagues on dashboards and reports. You can control access to the workspace, ensuring that only authorized team members can view or edit the sensitive data. Workspaces allow you to group related reports and dashboards together and manage permissions at a granular level, which is crucial for handling sensitive data.

Workspace - is used for dashboard, report creation, and maintenance collaboratively with the team. While, Power BI App is used to package and 'distribute' a collection of dashboard, reports and datasets to audience even outside of the workspace. Key word is to 'distribute'. So the answer is choice B.

Answer D Workspaces allow you to assign roles to individuals, and also to user groups such as security groups, Microsoft 365 groups, and distribution lists. To grant access to a workspace, assign one of the following workspace roles to a user group or individuals: Admin, Member, Contributor, or Viewer.

The correct answer is B. a published app. In Power BI, you can create a published app to distribute dashboards and reports securely. A published app is a collection of dashboards, reports, and datasets in Power BI that are bundled together and published to Power BI service or Power BI Report Server, where colleagues can consume it. You can specify permissions to restrict access, making it a secure way to share sensitive data. Please note that while a Power BI workspace (option D) is also a collaborative space where you can work with your colleagues to create collections of dashboards and reports, it doesn’t inherently provide the same level of secure distribution as a published app. Options A and C are not directly related to secure distribution of dashboards and reports.

My thoughts would be: key word = distribute, this is done via publish app, otherwise if this was only to be shared and collaborated on, workspaces would be the answer
